Here's a glimpse of some 'First's showcasing a fortunate and truly amazing professional journey!

My work of art

My FIRST-ever print appearance in The Streats newspaper on 16 September 2003.

"Five years from now, I see myself being recognised worldwide as the person behind the company that introduce a tool that is as popular as PowerPoint and Macromedia Flash."

Ok, I was young, passionate and believed the sky's the limit! Sure it didn't quite happen that way but I did manage to get the product to as far as Microsoft Corporate HQ and almost got one of the inventions into one of their products worldwide. Can't say much or I may get sued, but I have a copy of the contract to proof I am not making empty claims! WHAT A RIDE!

My FIRST appearance in the national Chinese newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao on 16 February 2006.

I am effectively bilingual - don't you know? Yes, I am good but not that good! The interview was conducted in English by an affable journalist who is truly impressively bilingual. That picture was taken at the corner of the Mezza9 Martini Bar - yes, posh factor 10!

I shared about the Singapore branding and how we are viewed favourably overseas, particularly in the Asian market. The Singapore brand sells a truly quality and innovative experience! Very proud to be part of the Singapore Inc.!

My FIRST TV appearance on Channel News Asia - 5 March 2004.

I was asked for my views on the Singapore government's tax changes to encourage entrepreneurship.

"As a start-up, the best talents are really so much more needed when you think about compared to a large organisation. But best talents are very expensive to come by. Even if you are able to justify their pay packages, they may not necessarily want to work with a start-up. I think it would be really beneficial if employees working in start-ups or even new companies going into their 4th or 5th year, can be incentivised some way through tax deductions or tax rebates for having I guess the guts and commitment to work with a start-up and putting their faith in into the hands of a group of entrepreneurs."

My work of artMy FIRST Radio appearance on Radio Singapore International on 27 January 2006.

I shared my views on trends and challenges for the global e-learning market.

I liked how I sounded on Radio - authoritative and confident. So, the listeners probably believed I was really a guru on these issues. Well, I was... at that time, I have already lived and slept e-learning for over 5 years! Enough passion and knowledge in the area to start a company and to invent a product or 2 whilst at it. Again, WHAT A RIDE!
